I think it is of very poor taste to refer to severe illnesses as "crazy" just because they have symptoms that some people could consider "weird" (Newsflash: almost every illness and condition has "weird" symptoms). Saying "Here are just a few crazy diseases to whet your appetite for the bizarre" as they do is appalling, not much different from the old practice of showcasing "freaks" in circuses.
Many people already get told by their doctors they are crazy for having crazy symptoms, leading many of these patients to suffer for years or decades from conditions that could be treated - and some of them even die.
